Introduction of the Contest :
Business Protocols, in cooperation with the Saudi Arabian Association for Culture and Arts in Jeddah, are honored to organize the first contest in Knowledge Economy on the Kingdom’slevel. This shall take place within the framework of launching the first campaign for introducing Saudi Arabian knowledge economy through ‘TheKnowledge Economy In the Eyes of Innovators’ competition
The Objective:
The competition aims to introduce the knowledge economy concept, the adoption of its mechanisms with all sections of the community, informing them of its importance in modern economies of governmental, private and individual sectors through the benefit from the expressive ability of each of the photographic artist, plastic artist and the author (the Essayist).
What is the Concept of the Knowledge Economy ?
In the old economy, the three main factors of production were land, labor and capital. In modern economics knowledge, innovation and information became more important economic pivots and more effective than the old.
Knowledge is a marketable wealth. All aspects of life need lists of knowledge for their development. So all governmental and private sectors including education, health, municipalities, banks……etc, need to know something. For that we strive to provide this knowledge through digital, communication and programming. In such a situation we find the image, in this new economy, playing an essential role as informer, instructor and teacher.
Perhaps the comparison between the sales volume and the market price for Microsoft Company with General Motors Company, which are well known worldwide and in our area, demonstrates the importance of economics focused on knowledge. For Microsoft Company is more successful.
What is Required from the Three Innovators:
Our surrounding world is full of knowledge and information, which, if exploited in the proper time and place, through experts and specialists, would lead to community growth and prosperity. In our growing communities we note that the governmental and private sectors produce less in the absence of awareness and application of the knowledge wealth in local and international economics. In this respect it would be appropriate to demonstrate for knowledge and let it be in the eyes of photographers.
a) Water is the source for life; so, shall we spoil our life?

b) Knowing tourist locations and informing investors and tourists of these sites, increase the national income of the country and the individual.

In this respect we request the innovators to seek information which participates in creating a new concept of knowledge economy and inspire awareness that is reflected on behavior, daily community practices and leads to dedication of knowledge as a sole criterion for human preeminence.
Work must also awaken the national competitive feeling with civilized nations through clarification of differences and vast paradoxes between their and our communities particularly on the level of knowledge
